# NEOSeam - Revolutionary Side Seam Technology for Laminate Tubes
NEOSeam is a revolutionary side seam technology that allows our customers to combine the benefits of 360° printing with the quality, cost savings and diverse printing technologies of flat printing. With this technology, laminate tubes can be produced with a 360° printed image that has no visible overlap to the consumer.

Advanced decoration solution and environmental benefits
NEOSeam not only offers an advanced decoration solution and commercially, but is also more environmentally friendly than traditional production methods. For example, direct printing can save labels. The use of multiple thinner layers allows the same look and feel to be achieved in a thinner tube compared to an extruded tube. The submitted NEOSeam sample tubes are made of Platina™ VISION a transparent material and Platina™ PRO - a recyclable mono-material developed by EPL.

Seamless imaging of artwork on laminate tubes
Another unique feature of NEOSeam is the reuse of the side strip of the laminate material, which is normally cut off from the printed material and wasted. With this technology, the side strip can be used to build up the side seam of the tube. This avoids creating a "white line" in the side seam area, which is particularly attractive to customers in the cosmetics sector. The technology enables seamless imaging of artwork around the entire tube, including shapes, narrow lines or full images.
